We are looking for an exceptional Senior Dental Nurse to join our growing team on Harley Street.

We are not looking for someone who simply wants to “nurse.”

THE ROLE

As Senior Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our clinical environment and will work closely with our dentists, therapists, technicians and wider team.

You will be involved in

• Providing high-quality chairside support across a range of private dental treatments
• Preparing surgeries to an exceptionally high clinical and presentation standard
• Supporting clinicians with complex and advanced treatments
• Maintaining impeccable cross-infection control and clinical governance standards
• Ensuring surgeries are fully stocked, organised and prepared for each patient
• Supporting the smooth running of the clinical diary especially with implant patients
• Taking responsibility for equipment, materials and stock management
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with practice protocols
• Supporting the onboarding and mentoring of junior dental nurses
• Helping to maintain and develop clinical systems and processes
• Working closely with the practice team to continually improve patient experience, and looking after implant surgical patients
• Taking a proactive role in ensuring the practice runs efficiently and professionally

You will be a senior presence within the clinical team and someone the wider team can rely on.

THE PERSON

Essential

• GDC registered Dental Nurse:
• Radiography qualification
• Current CPD and professional indemnity arrangements
• Strong understanding of cross-infection control and clinical governance
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Previous experience within private dentistry
• Professional, reliable and proactive approach
• High standards of patient care

Desirable

• Previous Senior Dental Nurse experience
• Radiography and Sedation experience
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior nurses
• Experience working within a premium/private dental environment
• Additional qualifications or experience in areas such as implant dentistry, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics or aesthetics
• Experience with digital dentistry and modern clinical workflows
