An enthusiastic and passionate team player required to join our dental training academy. We are looking for an individual who is either a qualified dental nurse or can demonstrate working knowledge in dentistry. Our academy is situated in Golders Green; London and we operate between the hours of 9 am-6 pm Monday-Friday & 9.30 am-5.30 pm Saturday-Sunday.

Job Type: Full-time/part-time/contract
Working hours: 20 – 42.5 hrs/week – Monday – Sunday between 09:00-17:30 (Shift patterns available)
Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary – depending on experience.
Location: Golders Green, North London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Qualification and Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Dental Nursing (GDC registered): 1 year (preferred)
Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)

Job Description:
A dental training academy administrator/receptionist role typically combines administrative and supportive duties within a dental education or practice setting, assisting with the administration of training programs, managing learner interactions, and supporting educational staff. Responsibilities would include scheduling training sessions, managing communication with learners and staff, preparing materials, maintaining records, ensuring a supportive learning environment, and potentially assisting with the logistical aspects of clinical training demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support:
• Managing schedules for training programs and educational sessions.
• Coordinating communication between students, educators, and administrative staff.
• Handling inquiries, booking appointments, and processing administrative requests related to training.
• Learner Support:
• Assisting in the learner onboarding process for training clinics or demonstrations.
• Helping to prepare or participation in training exercises.
• Providing information to learners about training procedures and schedules.
• Logistical & Operational Assistance:
• Assisting in preparing training materials and ensuring that training rooms or facilities are ready for use.
• Maintaining equipment and instruments for training sessions, ensuring they are organised.
• Managing and updating learner records accurately and confidentially.
• Team Collaboration:
• Working closely with dental trainers, educators, and other staff to ensure the smooth execution of programs.
• Supporting the seamless flow of training activities and addressing any operational concerns.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
• Strong Communication: Proficient in English, both written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively with learners, patients, and the dental team.
• Organisational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, prioritising responsibilities, and maintaining efficient workflows.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with administrative software and IT tools for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive patient and learner information with discretion.
• Teamwork: A collaborative spirit to work effectively with different members of the dental and training staff.
