Hi, I’m Sarah and I am the Area Manager for Surrey, Sussex, Kent, West London, South West London and South East London.
From the busy seafront of Brighton to the peace and quiet of the Kent countryside, to the hustle and bustle of London, no two weeks are ever the same and I love it.
My Story
I live in Egham and have been here since I was a baby. I recently purchased a holiday home in Selsey, where I am at every opportunity as the coast is so refreshing and relaxing.
During my time with Cavity I have got to see so many amazing places over the years, and without wishing my life away, retirement to a small coastal town seems very inviting.
I’ve always been a real animal lover and have always had cats but have always wanted to have a puppy and a kitten at the same time! A few years ago I did just that and so I now have a lovely, or do I mean lively, (perhaps both) Cockapoo called Sydney and a little ginger tom cat called Monty. They are best friends and I am so pleased I finally took the plunge.
Professional Career
I have been a Dental Nurse for 37 years and worked in a variety of placements. Most enjoyable was working for community with children and adults with special needs. I was lucky enough to attend the pilot course at Guys Hospital and achieve my Diploma in Special Needs Dentistry with the Handicapped Society. Following on from this, I also gained my Dental Radiography Qualification.
I started working for Cavity in 2009 and it has honestly been amazing!
Each day is different, I travel all over my different counties visiting new and existing practices and meeting lots of people each day. I really enjoy meeting Dental Nurses that are wanting to join the Cavity team; it was one of the best decisions I have made, and I like being able to tell people about Cavity and all that we have achieved.
I don’t think I could say there was one particular thing I love most about my job as I honestly love it all!
I have about 60 nurses in my team, both male and female who all work very hard. My whole team always try to get together at Christmas time to meet up and exchange stories , even though it’s quite hard with such a spread-out area!
Joining Sharon on her quest to grow Cavity and make it a UK wide agency was the most exciting and enjoyable decision I made. I have been here for 12 years and I am looking forward to continuing!
