Dental Nurse – Oxford

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, punctual and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our modern mixed NHS and private dental practice in central Headington, Oxford.

We also understand how important a manageable working day is. Patient lists are carefully managed so that clinicians and nurses have the time they need to provide good patient care without feeling constantly rushed or stressed, with adequate time allowed for breaks.

What you will be doing

• Providing chairside support during a range of NHS and private treatments
• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials
• Maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards
• Supporting and reassuring patients
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Working closely with dentists and the wider practice team
• Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Undertaking additional duties as required, including compliance and administrative tasks
• Applicants must be qualified and GDC registered.
