About the role

Desford Dental Care is looking for an experienced, patient-focused Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our friendly team to help us deliver high-quality dentistry to our patients. This is to cover a maternity position for a minimum of 9 months.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our forward-thinking practice with a strong emphasis on patient care and professional support.

Maternity position: Working Thursdays and 8.20 until 5.20 and Friday 8.20 until 4.00

What you will be doing

• Provide tailored preventive and periodontal care.
• Work alongside dentists on comprehensive treatment plans.
• Inspire and educate patients on achieving excellent oral health.
• Uphold the highest standards of clinical care and patient service.

What we are looking for

• A GDC-registered Dental Hygienist/Therapist with at least 2 years UK experience.
• A friendly communicator who puts patients at ease.
• Passionate about preventive dentistry and patient education.
• A proactive, team player with a positive, growth-focused mindset.Valid GDC registration
• Ideally with a couple of years UK experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Valid Immunisations (Hep B)
• Clear DBS certificate & indemnity cover is required
• CPD certificates & 2 clinical references
• Proof of the necessary right to work in the UK
