Dental Nurse/Patient Liaison

Position Available:

• Full Time Dental Nurse and part time Receptionist role
• 39.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. May occasionally be required to work on a Saturday.

Pay: Depending on experience and skillset, ranges from £21,430.50-£25,512.50 per year

A bit about us – who will you be joining?

• The Grove Practice is a well-established 4 surgery fully private practice known for delivering excellent patient care in the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa. The owners, twin brothers Viren and Upen Vithlani have created a values-based practice whose approach is based on complete dentistry. Viren is a Specialist Periodontist and Upen has a special interest in Orthodontics.

• The practice offers specialist periodontal services (including implants), orthodontics, advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as routine care and advanced hygiene services with airflow.

• The building is well refurbished and recent renovations to the practice include a new imaging room with OPG/CBCT and intra-oral radiography, a new high spec surgery and an outdoor decking space for the team to enjoy (come sunshine or winter).

• The associate dentists in the practice have particular interests in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. You will be working with some fabulous dentists, dental therapists, hygienists and nurses and Patient Liaison, above all a great team. The dentists are all very supportive in learning, growing and you will be assisting in providing high quality private dentistry whilst doing this.

• This is a great opportunity to broaden or develop nursing skills beyond routine general dentistry.

• Experience in private practice or Specialist dental care
• Able to offer additional services within scope of practice or willingness to learn new sets of skills or work towards progression.

Job Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Chairside support to dentists, dental therapists and dental hygienists in accordance with Dental Nurse scope of practice
• Patient engagement
• Promotion of the practice through excellent patient experiences every time
• Infection Control and Decontamination Processes in accordance with HTM 0105
• Patient Care in accordance with additional skills section of Dental Nurse scope of practice, where competent and confident to undertake
• Patient Care in accordance with additional skills section of Dental Nurse scope of practice, where competent and confident to undertake
• Reception duties including welcoming patients, responding to telephone and email enquiries, scheduling appointments, taking payments, diary management and other administrative duties
• Support and management of patient through care journey

Training will be provided as necessary to support you in the role. Above all, a caring, friendly, efficient approach with a focus on patient experience is of paramount importance. The right candidate will have the potential to grow their skill set to become involved in being a Patient Care Coordinator or have further training should they wish.
